In the Atrium for the whole con.

Retail Booths:  4-Colour/8-Bit, Minotaur and Nexus will all have retail booths at KingCon.  Cool stuff.  Great Deals!  In the Atrium for the whole con.

Food & Drink:  Bar food and drinks can be purchased in the Atrium bar from 5:30pm - close on Friday and Saturday.  The rest of the time you can get meals at the hotel restaurant which is next door to the Atrium.

Free Board Gaming (Atrium): Choose from a pile of great board games!

Art Corner (Confederation Ballroom): Game themed art on dispay and for sale.

Miniatures Contest (Confederation Ballroom):  Vote for the mini with the best paint job.

The Schedule Thus Far

The Schedule Thus Far has been moved to the Forum.  Updates will appear under that posting.  In the near future we will actually have a proper schedule on the website containing finalized times, costs & other relevant details.

Would ALL people wishing to run events please get the information to King Con ASAP!

Want to run something?

We are looking for people to run games and more!  The three stores involved will be running tournaments and gaming sessions, but having individuals come and run games will make the con that much more interesting!  There are few if any limits on what you can run as a game.  Board gaming, role playing, CCG's, card games, table top minis, etc. are obvious choices; but we are very open to other ideas.  For example, the ICTHL, a local table hockey league, will be running a couple of table hockey tournaments.

We even are happy to consider things that aren't games as long as they fit: mini's-painting workshops, comic jamming, chainmail design, whatever brilliant ideas you can come up with!

If you need to charge admission or a registration fee for the event/workshop/activity to cover your costs (paint for minis, etc.) let us know.  If we need to charge a registration fee for your event, we'll let you know (for example, if you take up a large amount of space or if you need or want stores to contribute prizes).  We won't charge you anything to run the event and you'll get free general admission to the con on the day of your event.

So, let us know if you are interested in running something, by emailing, posting on this website's forum, or dropping into 4-Colour/8-Bit, Minotaur or Nexus and letting us know!

Welcome to the new KingCon website!

GAMEMASTERS are encouraged to post their game info and any convention-related questions in the general discussion forum. PLAYERS are urged to likewise solicit a gamemaster to put them into their misery.

CONVENTION ORGANIZERS (you know who you are) may use the organizers' private forum.

We're very excited about the potential of our new website. Please excuse the mess and mind the pointy corner bits as we build this marvel of modern engineering. If things look funny or seem broken, take a deep breath (remember to exhale!) and try again later. The site will be growing quickly over the next week or so!
